Frida Kahlo
The artwork has many symbolic things representing her life. There is a vien being cut showing representing frida trying to move forward. The materials used in the artwork are strang if you do not know the story behind them. the pincers cuting the vein and the snail representing her miscariages. My attention goes straight to the connection of the veins to the fridas. there are many themes but the main one i recognize is moving forward in life. The artist is trying to emphasis her past life and her trying to move on. I think frida shows her emotions through her artwork because it is a way to release pain. I think that frida thought low of life but thought that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. When i first saw the artwork i thought the picture was strange looking but once i learned about the history it makes sence the way it is painted.
