Journal #7: Las Dos Fridas by Frida Kahlo

Las Dos Fridas by Frida Kahlo and it's located in Mexico City. I notice that in this piece repesents the struggle in her life which represents her moving on in her life and forgetting the past. As for her color use is very traditonal to her time period and blends nicely. The vein that connects the two Fridas creates the movment that lets your eyes follow from one side to the other. I think that this piece is so different, but complicated to understand if you didn't know the story behind it.
